Brewing up an Educational Experience
ProBrew has supplied brewing and beverage equipment to some of the largest brands and companies including Sam Adams, Miller, Coors, and Coca-Cola. With that kind of established history, it’s no surprise that ProBrew wanted to go beyond a traditional experience at the Craft Brewers trade show in Philadelphia. Rather than exhausting efforts to verbally introduce their products, ProBrew sought to attract, engage, and impact attendees with an educational VR experience using the sights and sounds from the Like Minds Brewing Company in Chicago.
Experiencing a Virtual Tour
Knowing that ProBrew was looking to combine an authentic brewery atmosphere with a smooth voiceover narration to engage viewers, we worked hard to replicate the look and feel of operating their equipment. By placing the observer in the middle of the action, attendees were able to receive a virtual, yet hands-on, educational experience. The narrated tour guided viewers through the brewing company and educated them on the specific mechanics that ProBrew was responsible for delivering.

To help the viewer get to know ProBrew, we segmented the experience by isolating three noteworthy technologies: Centrifugal Pump Filling machines, the Centrifugal Clarifier, and Brewhouses with the Pneumatic Butterfly Wave. The result? A visually stunning and immersive experience that used VR training in the form of a guided tour to engage and delight viewers.
Saving Costs with VR Education
Transporting equipment to a conference to showcase your new product is costly. By investing in a VR training experience in the form of a guided brewery tour, ProBrew was able to mitigate the costs associated with traditional displays, transportation, potential damages, and labor. ProBrew’s one-time investment helped them shed the burdens of the common practice while giving them a fresh way to engage visitors. Now, ProBrew has a new medium of communication that continues to bring their equipment to life.
