Hi, welcome to another edition of Foundry 45s, where we give you 45 seconds of insights from training leaders around the world. Today we’re excited to have Christopher Lind from Learning Sharks and GE. Hey, Christopher. Where do you see corporations getting the most value out of using VR?
So, I look at it and I would say, at least today, with what I’ve seen, I see two big categories. The first one being actually being able to allow people to go into experiences that either were inaccessible or too dangerous for them to go, right? So we can actually create experiences, put people in this safe environment where they can make mistakes, without the risk that they would make in other areas. The second one that I see rapidly growing, especially with the democratization of the hardware, is the ability to use it to bring people together – even in just regular ways that we couldn’t do before, or now especially, are just harder. So it actually is democratizing experience and opportunity.
