BUILDING SUCCESSFUL
VR TRAINING PROGRAMS
Our Proven 3-Step Process
Developing VR training programs can be expensive, risky and time-consuming. We recognize that creating scalable VR training can be overwhelming, with all the factors to manage and navigate.
At Foundry 45, we understand these complexities, which is why we’ve developed a proven and agile process for ensuring everything runs smoothly.
You have existing SOPs and training content. We have an agile process that will transform your current training materials into an immersive VR experience without wasting your time, money, or resources.
We do the upfront work with minimal back and forth from you. Here’s how it works:
The first step involves taking a close look at your existing training materials. Our VR experts dive deep into your existing SOPs and content to craft a VR experience that solves your training needs.
Our experience in this area speeds up the process and reduces your time and participation in this phase up to 80%.
Next, we create a flow doc and 3D content bucket. This highlights every detail of your VR experience from the technology you’ll be using to the voice-over copy for your training program. Upon completion, this plan is sent to your SME to ensure accuracy, protecting you from issues or errors down the road.
After an SME signs off on your flow, you are on the way to being able to see your VR experience in action.
Four to six weeks after the approval of your flow doc, you’ll receive a working prototype of your VR experience in your technology. Approximately every two weeks from that point, you get the opportunity to test each piece of your project until completion.
This gives you the power to quickly alert our team of any required changes, ensuring the final deliverable is timely and fits your needs.
Using our process, we provide clients a clear roadmap for constructing effective VR training, ensuring everyone is on the same page and reducing costly and confusing mistakes along the way.
We provide our clients with white-glove support, offering on-demand, remote, or in-person help to verify that each training pilot is set up in the most effective manner. This reduces the stress of setting up the programs, enables more consistent training results, and aids in scaling to all employees and locations.
“We were worried that this project was going to burn both time and money. There seem to be very few best practices for VR training out there. Since Foundry 45 has deployed many systems at big companies, they have a process that helped us limit our time-engagement and definitely saved hours and cycles.”
